Goodday, I have purchased 50 google play credit directly from google play store. My google play account is in US but I am still getting the error when trying to purchase something with the credit. I message google and they said due to geo location I cannot use the card. Is there anyway around this since my google play account is still in US. I am currently not in the US but in the Caribbean. Is there anything I can do?

I live in South Africa and even though Google gift cards are available in my currency, I cannot add PayPal as a payment method. However I can use PayPal to purchase US Google redemption codes which are in USD. My question is this, after redeeming a US code, will the equivalent USD be then reflected in my local currency? Or an I forced to carry on using the US Play store because my local bank is currently listed as a payment method on my South African play store.

It was like an online romance and she would send him google play cards for him to play call of duty. I think it could be much more than an online romance. I do not think it is a scam on his part(Who knows) since he can afford to pay for his own cards but could she be doing anything illegal or maybe just catfish? Its a SCAM.It would not be paypal customer services that you called it would be a FAKE number pretending to be paypal customer services.The number shows up when you use 'google' to find paypals number OR a scammer has posted a thread in this forum.Most times these threads get reported and removed but some slip through.The scammers post genuine advice but the phone number is in the title or post often in a strange format to get around paypals security.They also often put loads of 'tags' on the side to push down any warning posts below.That is why paypal NEVER post their phone number on this forum.The only way to get the REAL paypal customer services number is via help / contact bottom left of paypal pages and scrolling down past the FAQ to the 'call us' option to phone them.If you think about it why would paypal ask you to buy google vouchers or itunes cards to answer your question?
