Where Can I Buy Wen Hair Care __EXCLUSIVE__

A little hair loss while shampooing is normal, but recently women using the WEN line of hair care products have lost more than a stray strand or two in the shower. These women have reported excessive breakage, burning and balding after shampooing their hair with the supposedly mild brand of cleansing conditioner. What exactly is causing the reactions is unknown to the makers of WEN and, at this point, the FDA.

where can i buy wen hair care

Wen, the hair care line popularized by Chaz Dean's late night infomercials, has come under fire following more than 21,000 adverse reactions reported directly to the company. Complaints about the cleansing conditioner, which markets itself as a natural, gentler alternative to conventional shampoo and conditioner, have led the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to launch an investigation into the product line. In addition to complaints filed directly with Guthy Renker and Chaz Dean, Inc., the FDA has received 127 independent reports of adverse reactions from consumers.

Reactions have been reported in response to the Sweet Almond Mint, Lavender and Pomegranate formulations of Wen Cleansing Conditioner. The investigation follows the initiation of a class action lawsuit levied against WEN in 2014 that details six women's experiences with the product. These women allege that WEN products caused scalp itching, rashes, hair breakage and the loss of clumps of hair.

The FDA has requested data, manufacturing locations, measures taken to guarantee ingredient quality and recent formulation changes to the product, information which may be useful for its investigation. It is inspecting WEN facilities in an attempt to pinpoint the cause of these reactions. In the meantime, the FDA has advised consumers to stop using WEN Cleansing Conditioner if they experience any symptoms such as rash, itching or hair loss. If you suspect WEN products have caused hair loss of balding, contact the FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088.

"Through this experience, we have learned that there is an immediate need for more education about hair health and common hair concerns in the industry, unrelated to WEN," Chaz Dean Inc. claimed in a statement. "There is no evidence that WEN products cause hair loss and the ingredients and formulations meet or exceed safety and quality standards set by the cosmetics industry. We stand behind them." This reassurance was not enough to satisfy the FDA, whose investigation into the hair care line continues.

The FDA - America's equivalent of the UK's medical licensing body, the MHRA - has taken the unusual step of issuing a safety alert in relation to a product after it received over 100 complaints of it causing hair loss.Accusations made in the 127 reports submitted directly to the FDA - the most ever received for this type of product - state that the WEN by Chaz Dean Cleansing Conditioner caused users to experience "hair loss, hair breakage, balding, itching, and [a] rash". The FDA confirmed it is also investigating more than 21,000 additional complaints which were made to the brand Chaz Dean Inc and its distributor Guthy-Renker, about the same product.

The popular hair care line has been at the centre of a class action lawsuit in the USA involving more than 200 women across 40 states, since 2015. Their claims allege the brand's signature sulfate-free cleansing conditioner - a shampoo-free hair cleanser - caused users thinning hair, severe hair damage and a number of other unwanted side effects.Given the volume of complaints, the FDA has provided the following advice recommendations for anyone who finds themselves experiencing adverse reactions to the product, as part of its safety alert:'While the FDA continues its investigation, consumers should be aware of reactions reported in association with the use of WEN by Chaz Dean Cleansing Conditioner products. Consumers who experience a reaction after using WEN by Chaz Dean Cleansing Conditioner products should stop using the product and consult with their dermatologist or other health care provider.'The popular WEN hair care line has been at the centre of a class action lawsuit in the USA involving more than 200 women across 40 states, since 2015. The claimants allege the brand's signature sulfate-free cleansing conditioner - a shampoo-free hair cleanser - caused users thinning hair, severe hair damage and a number of other unwanted side effects.Interestingly, although the product is available in the UK - albeit on a much smaller scale than in the USA - there do not appear to be any reports of hair loss complaints from customers this side of the pond. One possible reason for this is that sometimes formulations vary between countries for the same product; this is a common practice in the beauty industry although whether or not this is something WEN does is unknown. For now, the FDA has stated that it has 'not yet determined a possible cause for the adverse events that have been reported' but 'will provide additional updates as new information becomes available'.

A new statement addressing the growing controversy - which has prompted calls for better hair care product regulation - was recently released by Chaz Dean Inc. The company points out, quite rightly, that developing hair loss conditions is 'complex' and calls for more education about hair concerns. The statement reads as follows:'The Wen by Chaz Dean family cares deeply about everyone's hair health. We encourage people who inquire about any hair issues to seek qualified medical assistance because it is a complex topic.WEN by Chaz Dean is safe, and millions of bottles have been sold over the last 16 years. We have consistently cooperated with the FDA and will continue to do so. We love our brand and our customers.Through this experience, we have learned that there is an immediate need for more education about hair health and common hair concerns in the industry, unrelated to Wen. There is no evidence that WEN products cause hair loss and the ingredients and formulations meet or exceed safety and quality standards set by the cosmetics industry. We stand behind them.'Hair loss is definitely a tricky area with many factors involved, from what you eat and drink to your genetic make-up -and in women hormones can play a significant role too, more so than with men. There is rarely one thing that causes shedding in isolation, with the exception of cases where baldness is a result of, for example, severe scalp burns. However, given the sheer number of complaints from women with hair loss after using the same product, it does seem likely that some link may exist.Any women who are experiencing sudden or excessive shedding should seek expert hair loss advice as soon as possible. A specialist will be able to both diagnose your condition and talk you through the best options for a personalised hair loss treatment course designed to prevent further thinning and promote healthy regrowth. They can also offer lifestyle advice and hair growth boosters as well as their monitoring and support services on the journey back to optimum hair health.

After an experience last fall where Wen shipped Sweet Almond Mint instead of the seasonal scent/formula than I was supposed to receive, I cancelled my subscription to Wen (even though the per-bottle price was great!) and decided to start buying from QVC. I like when QVC offers assortments with different seasonal formulas in the same box.

Your hair really looks great and shiny! I tried it, and even though my hair is dry, and I have split ends, and I color, it made no big difference in softness at all. But the worst thing was that it gave me giant dandruff flakes. I know, gross! :)

My hair was the same. My hair was very fine, flat and in order to get it to hold any type of curl it took all kinds of products which made my hair and scalp feel very disgusting. I have been using WEN for a little over 8 months now and the difference in my hair is simply amzain. I absolutely Love the Products and would never use shampoo in my hair again ???

I reached the point where I had so many bottles purchased during various deals that I actually skipped buying it in 2018. I want to use up what I have here before buying more so my stock stays current. Right now I am using the Summer Tropical Paradise formula, which I really like. It smells like a tropical fruit drink.

I've wanted to write a review on Chaz Dean's WEN Hair Care for quite some time now, so it's the perfect cleansing product for my first CleanerMatch review. I used WEN for a few years and fell in love with it. And I've tried a lot of hair products. I've tried so many, my sister has even called me a "product junkie". This is the best on the market.

This winter I started complaining about my hair being unusually dry. (Check out the photo of my dry locks and please excuse my selfie skills. I detest selfies so I don't have very much practice. ) I couldn't figure out what had changed. Did I change my vitamins? Was it the dry weather conditions? Could it be the water in my new home? Nope. It was my shampoo. I stopped using WEN and my hair went to hell.

I ordered up a new shipment of WEN and after a week my hair was softer, stronger and shiner (see the after pics). I noticed an instant difference the first time I used it again. I've now been using it again religiously for a month and I've even noticed that it is growing faster. That could be because I have no breakage anymore. Before you go out and sign up for this system there are a few things you should know. 041b061a72
